Baptist Institute of America began in the fall of 2006. Dr. Don Richards, the founder of BIA, felt led of God to start a school in the Atlanta area to help train men and women to be better servants
in their local churches. With this dream in his heart, he called together a small group of men to seek their counsel and ask them to pray. Several of that initial group were vital in getting BIA started and continue to be actively involved in the school to this day. Rev. Tom Foskey serves as the President. His creativity and leadership has played a key role in the growth and outreach of BIA. Dr. Don Davis has been our Administrative Dean since the beginning and is a vital part of BIA with his vast educational training and years of college experience. Over the past decade, the Lord has blessed BIA with a tremendous faculty. Our professors are well-respected and care deeply about those they instruct. Our graduates still minister in their home churches and others have moved on to other vineyards. The heartbeat of BIA is the Bible and the local church, and we have always held to the traditional fundamentals of the faith. These are exciting times for our school, we look for God’s hand to bless our future, and we praise Him for His evident leading day by day. |
